BlackBerry 8310 Launched by AT&T

AT&T launched the introduction of the new BlackBerry Curve 8310 smartphone with built-in GPS that uses the TeleNav GPS Navigator app, which provides turn-by-turn directions and 3D maps. The service costs $5.99 for 10 trips or you can pay a monthly fee of $9.99 for unlimited trips. Most other features of the Curve 8310 remain similar to the original 8300, including stereo Bluetooth, a 3.5mm headset jack, microSD slot for storage, and 2 Megapixel camera.

BlackBerry Curve 8310 launched by AT&T combines the renowned BlackBerry e-mail and messaging capabilities including a built-in spell-checker with user-customizable dictionary with premium phone features, a comprehensive organizer, fast Internet browser and other applications. With measures just 4.2 wide by 2.4 inches long by 0.6 thick and weighs approximately 3.9 oz. This 8310 smartphone's also featuring a large, ultrabright 320-by-240 pixel display that supports more than 65,000 colors.

Other Blackberry Curve 8310 features include a large 65k color, 320 x 240 pixel display, a 2.0 megapixel camera with 5x digital zoom, media player, a microSD card slot, a 3.5 mm stereo headset jack, e-mail and IM capabilities with built-in spell-checker and stereo Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP.

Blackberry Curve 8310 also features impressive multimedia capabilities, including a 2-megapixel camera with 5x digital zoom, an advanced media player, new desktop media manager software, a 3.5 mm stereo headset jack, a microSD memory slot for additional storage and Bluetooth® 2.0 with support for the Bluetooth stereo audio profile (A2DP/AVRCP). The BlackBerry Curve 8310 also supports AT&T Mobile Music™ subscription services and AT&T Push to Talk for walkie-talkie-like communications.

The 8310 is an upgrade from the 8300 Curve in that it includes built-in GPS and navigation applications. The BlackBerry Curve 8310 is available now from AT&T for $199.99 after a mail-in rebate and with a 2-year contract.
