AT&T SMS Text Message, MMS Picture-Video Message Costs Rise on March 30, 2008. Come March 30, these new rates will help AT&T gouge the casual SMS and MMS message-user for their hard-earned bucks. If you are currently on a messaging plan your pricing will not be affected. For those not on a plan it seems like it may be a good time to consider moving over.

Customers without messaging bundles will be seeing their SMS text message-costs rise to $0.20 (20 cents) per message, with each MMS picture/video message costing $0.30 (30 cents) each.
