Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 + WinMo 6.5. Sony Ericsson XPERIA Windows Mobile smartphone was announced. We know that XPERIA will have some great features, such as GPS, HSDPA, 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus and much more. What we don’t know is that if Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 will have the Windows Mobile version 6 or a newer version.

Word has it that the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 will be running a more advanced version of Windows Mobile - namely, Windows Mobile 6.5 It ain’t Windows Mobile 6.1 but it’s not quite Windows Mobile 7.0. It’s something of a stop-gap OS that should include some fancy unannounced features for the WinMo set.
